Healthy eating and my baby

“Taking care of health is the most important job of a teacher. Their spiritual life, worldview, mental development, strength of knowledge and self-confidence" V.A. Sukhomlinsky

Is a health problem a nutrition problem? Healthy eating should be an integral part Everyday life and promote good physiological, mental and social health of a person.

What is quality nutrition? Quality nutrition is achieved through the consumption of safe food products as part of a balanced diet, as a result of which the child’s body’s nutritional needs are fully satisfied.

Nutritional deficiencies Loss of attention Weakness and fatigue Deterioration of memory and brain function Easy access to viral and infectious diseases What follows from this?...

Healthy eating is a condition for good academic performance! Breakfast (at home) – muesli, cereal, puffed rice, etc. with milk and (preferably) fruit.

Breakfast at school is required! Your child's well-being during lessons is ensured by eating school breakfast on time!

And one more thing about breakfast... Breakfast is very important for schoolchildren, providing them with the necessary energy for the most active part of the day. Studies have shown that children who eat breakfast regularly and properly show more energy in class, perceive information better, and achieve more. high results. Research shows: Statistics include children who ignore the school cafeteria.

Research shows: the first signs of chronic diseases (obesity, cardiovascular diseases, oncology, digestive disorders) appear in youth. Nutrition education has a significant impact on developing healthy habits and leading to a reduction in the risk of diet-related diseases.

The most important factor influencing the health and quality of nutrition of a child is the level of education of his mother!

Insufficient intake of vitamins, protein, microelements Pre-illness or illness load Your child is at school, but does not eat in the canteen...

Tip: Try to demonstrate to your child the benefits of healthy eating. Boys can be “inspired” by explaining that healthy foods are the path to physical strength and height. Girls can be influenced by stories about the beauty of hair and skin. Illustrate for them possible consequences overeating sweets or fatty foods: tooth decay, obesity, hair loss, acne.

N. Paltsev instructed the Finance and Budget Committee to find funds to increase food standards in schools. An instruction was given to provide in the 2009 budget funds in the amount of 60 million rubles for the re-equipment of canteens in 29 schools in the city and 9.5 million for the replacement of equipment in kindergarten canteens. And lastly... Let's act together!

Healthy eating - healthy lifestyle! It is the food that we take that ensures the development and constant renewal of cells and tissues of the body, and is the source of energy that our body spends not only during physical activity, but also at rest!

Milk-calcium! The need for calcium increases with age. Low fat cow's milk rich in calcium, necessary for bones and the prevention of osteoporosis, as well as with proper nutrition. Dairy prevents loss of bone mass as a result of menopause or rheumatoid arthritis (beneficial for a healthy lifestyle). Drink two glasses of skim milk daily or include low-fat yogurt and calcium-rich fruits in your diet.

Bananas are potassium! Just one yellow fruit contains 467 mg of potassium, which is needed to keep muscles strong and healthy. It reduces arterial pressure. Bananas are an excellent prevention of cardiovascular diseases; they neutralize acid, so they are useful for treating heartburn. There is evidence to suggest that they prevent blood clots, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Moreover, consuming six eggs a week reduces the risk of breast cancer by 44%. Today, nutritionists say that one or two eggs a day does not raise cholesterol levels because the body makes it itself from saturated fats, rather than getting it from cholesterol-rich foods.

Salmon-nicotinic acid! Salmon is rich in omega-3 fats, which lower cholesterol, protect against certain types of cancer and prevent blood clots. Research shows that salmon relieves depression and prevents memory loss because it contains niacin. And it, according to some data, protects against Alzheimer's disease. If possible, eat fresh or canned salmon at least three times a week - if you lead a healthy lifestyle (HLS). Omega-3 fats are also found in walnuts.

Cereals - phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium! From a nutritional point of view, cereals can be called universal products and can be used for any disease. The same grain is suitable for cooking various dishes for a variety of ailments. Using various culinary treatments, you can provide the most gentle regime for the digestive organs (liquid and pureed porridges) or cause activation of intestinal motor function (loose porridges).

Meat and meat products. Meat and meat products are the main source of complete proteins of animal origin, the content of which ranges from 14 to 24%. Meat contains all the essential amino acids, a lot of iron, phosphorus, vitamins A, B1, B6, B12. However, it is low in calcium and magnesium, vitamin C and some others. Meat is rich in nitrogenous extractive substances, which improve its taste, increase the secretory function of the stomach, the excitability of the central nervous and cardiovascular systems

Nuts and seeds. Nuts and seeds are extremely rich in fats, proteins, essential amino acids, some minerals and vitamins. In terms of calorie content, they occupy one of the first places among plant products. When choosing inshell nuts, choose those that are heavier and do not rattle when shaken. They should not have cracks or holes. Beware of moldy peanuts - they can cause serious illness. Buy nuts and seeds whole rather than chopped, ground or shelled, as nut kernels become rancid more quickly. When purchasing nuts and seeds, pay attention to their color. Old, rancid fruits usually have a yellowish tint.

Mushrooms are the most valuable food. Mushrooms belong to the class of spore plants. They are quite simple in structure, do not have a green color, do not contain chlorophyll, and do not absorb carbon dioxide. They feed on ready-made organic matter found in the ground or other substrate. Mushrooms are the most valuable food. Proteins, fats, carbohydrates, various mineral salts and vitamins play an important role in human nutrition. These substances are found in mushrooms. By element content edible mushrooms significantly different from other plant products. They contain no vegetable starch at all. Carbohydrates in mushrooms include glycogen and sugar.

Chocolate is an exquisite pleasure! Chocolate has been known for five hundred years, but it still remains a mysterious product. Along with big amount calories, chocolate contains a whole pharmacy of useful substances and microelements. Everyone knows well that chocolate is indispensable for relieving fatigue, hunger and even getting rid of stress. Research by the Institute of Nutrition of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences has shown that special essential oils, which are part of chocolate, can effectively protect our blood vessels from cholesterol. They prevent the deposition of fats and lime on the walls of blood vessels and arteries. And this is just one of a number of amazing discoveries of recent times. The antioxidants found in chocolate may help fight cancer, as cocoa contains twice as many antioxidants as red wine and three times as much as green tea.

Honey is rich in minerals. Of course, honey is not just a delicacy, it is a very valuable medicine and means of prevention. Honey contains the entire periodic table, it contains everything that our body needs in the most suitable form for absorption, so honey has no equal among medicines. And if you add, for example, pollen or healthy fruits, nuts, you can get potent medicines for many diseases. Even if you are practically healthy, but you know the weak points of your body, purchase or prepare your own honey with the additive that is beneficial for you. Take 1–2 teaspoons of it every day on an empty stomach with water at room temperature. But remember that you should not dilute honey in hot liquid; this will destroy the valuable substances in it. Of course, all these tips do not apply to those who are allergic to honey.

...without water and neither here nor there Water is the only liquid on Earth that has special physicochemical characteristics. Water molecules easily break down into positively charged hydrogen (H+) and negatively charged hydroxyl (OH) ions. It is these ions that determine the spatial structure of proteins, lipids, nucleic acids and other organic matter. The polarity of molecules gives water its ability to dissolve a variety of substances: mineral salts, simple alcohols, sugar, etc. That is why water serves as a medium where numerous chemical reactions take place, which together create life. Beneficial features waters are known to everyone, it is thanks to them that water has firmly established itself in the daily diet. On average, a person should drink 8 glasses every day, which is about 2 liters.

A deterioration in health status and a decrease in functionality modern children compared to their peers in the second half of the 20th century. The reasons for the pronounced fatigue of schoolchildren from educational loads have been identified: an increase in the volume of material due to a decrease in the school week; intensification of the learning process; nutritional disorders of children and adolescents.

Slide 4

Slide 5

Improper nutrition creates a large deficiency of microelements and vitamins in the child’s body, reduces the functional reserves of the body, contributes to high emotional stress, immaturity communication skills(hence irritability, aggression or, conversely, touchiness, tearfulness), the prevalence of bad habits.

Slide 6

Slide 7

Healthy eating -

- This is a diet balanced in the ratio of carbohydrates - proteins - fats, containing enough vitamins and minerals. Modern model rational nutrition has the shape of a pyramid: products in it are arranged from base to top as their usefulness decreases. Based on it, you can create a balanced diet for every day.

Slide 8

First brick food pyramid- grain

The base of the pyramid is formed by whole grain products, the importance of which is often underestimated and the content of which in our menu is usually insufficient. Admit it, how often do you eat porridge - buckwheat, oatmeal, wholemeal bread, durum wheat pasta? And there should be from 6 to 9 servings in your daily diet! 1 serving of grain products is 1 slice of whole grain bread or 1.5 cups of cooked pasta or 1.5 cups of cooked rice.

Slide 9

Cereals (buckwheat, brown rice, oatmeal) contain a lot of vitamins A and E, and the vitamins in them are not destroyed over time as intensively as in vegetables and fruits. Of course, a certain percentage of the population eats muesli for breakfast, but it is still worth thinking about bringing back traditional dishes such as porridge with various additives - mushrooms, pumpkin, turnips. It is not only tasty, but also extremely healthy. Please note: this does not include sources of “empty” carbohydrates that are present in our diet: White bread, rolls, cakes.

Slide 10

Bricks 2 and 3 - vegetable and fruit.

The next level of the pyramid is vegetables and fruits (2 separate groups). There should be an average of 5 servings of vegetables in the daily diet. Fruits - from 3 to 5. 1 serving of fruit is 1 medium fruit (orange, apple) or 1 cup of chopped fruit, or 1.5 cups of juice, or 1 cup of dried fruit. As a source of vitamin C, a decoction of dried rose hips, leafy greens, red pepper, frozen black currants, citrus fruits and sauerkraut are recommended.

Slide 11

Brick 4 of the food pyramid – meat

The diet must contain high protein foods containing essential amino acids: lean meat, poultry, fish. Nutritionists include cottage cheese in this same group.

Meat contains iron and B vitamins (mainly pork). Sausages, sausages, boiled sausages are not included here - there is not much meat in them, but there is plenty of fat and calories!

Slide 12

Brick 5 of the food pyramid – milk

Dairy products are a source of vitamins A and E. Fermented milk products containing live bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, which are necessary for the prevention of intestinal dysbiosis, will help support the immune system. There should be 2 servings of dairy products in the daily diet (1 serving - 1 cup of skim milk or low-fat yogurt, kefir). Please note: limit the intake of foods containing a lot of animal fats as a source of hidden fat (cheeses, ice cream, sour cream, fatty sauces, mayonnaise).

Slide 13

Brick 6 of the food pyramid - fat-containing, but not greasy

At the very top of the pyramid is a group of fat-containing foods, which includes nuts, animals and vegetable oils. The latter are a source of heart-healthy polyunsaturated fatty acids. Butter is included in this group, but its consumption should be limited.

Slide 14

A schoolchild needs 4-5 meals a day, and the interval between meals should not exceed 3.5-4 hours. During the school day, a student needs to receive up to 55-60% of the daily calorie intake. Therefore, a child needs a nutritious hot meal at school. Replacing hot food with buffet products leads to a sharp decrease in the intake of important nutrients into the body. If you listen to advice on proper nutrition for schoolchildren, then your child will study well and always be in a great mood.
